Junior Programs
Junior Program Philosophy
At Winning Touch Tennis we strive to steadily develop each and every child's potential, create a life-long enjoyment for the game of tennis, foster a strong work ethic and sense of fair play, and give each student the ability to transfer lessons learned on the court into all other walks of life.
We believe that "practice " does not "make perfect." Rather, "perfect practice makes perfect." For each student, the focus is consistently on proper stroke development for maximum results. Though we present the game in a fun environment, we do not offer a "hit & giggle" playground atmosphere and call it a junior program. For continuity and consistent progression of development, clinics are provided on an eight-week basis based upon a lesson agenda so there is a clear understanding of what is being taught.
Each member of our teaching staff is certified by either the U.S.P.T.A. or the U.S.P.T.R. and is a career teaching professional. Class sizes are limited to a 6:1 student to teacher ratio to provide a high degree of personalized attention and maximize participation.
Student placement is ultimately at the sole discretion of the W.T.T.L.V. teaching staff and is based on each student's level and performance.
